 Picture, Video, and Audio Links

Unlike classified in a newspaper, with our classified advertising you can do more then just write a description. We can add a picture page, so you can show your products, too. Or we can add a video link - so you can show your product in action! Or you can have audio on your ad - we can add that too. Email for specifics and additional costs.

Like all other advertising, ad tricks count.

• The three word headline in bold face must lure your reader into the ad. Don't waste it.
• If the ad is about pipe, make sure that word is among the first three. If the ad is about help needed, make those words appear among the first three.
• The best words in advertising are "new," "free," and "now." If you can use any of those words among the boldface first three, do it. Pipe Sale Now is a very good start. Free New Hardware is even better. You get the idea.
• Write the ad so that readers will understand it. True, extra words cost, but they cost so little that a few extra words that make things clear are the best investment. Don't abbreviate so much that people have to figure out what you're talking about.
• Call to Action. End your ad by asking the reader to do something. Write (give an address); or Call (give a number); or Email (give the email address, or better yet, give a link to an email form that we provide.) If you don't ask readers to do something, they won't.

Place your classified ad in Fencebids As with all classified ads everywhere, we require payment in advance, but we've made it very simple. E-mail the text of your ad to gene@fencebids.com Then, a click on one of the Visa cards on the right takes you to a short "Paypal" form on our website. Fill it out on a Wednesday and we'll run your ad in Friday's Fencebids.
